Associated Centers for Therapy
is a non-profit comprehensive outpatient community mental health center
with two locations – south central metropolitan Tulsa and Sand
Springs, in northwest Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
In 1982, we opened our doors to provide affordable and caring intensive
services to increasing numbers of area residents with serious mental
illness.
Our mission: ACT helps individuals with behavioral health issues
improve their quality of life through accessible, consumer-driven, community-based
behavioral health and related services and is a leading community resource
in the integration of these services.
Helping people build better lives is our daily goal and our services
are continuously growing to meet the needs of indigent adults who experience
a serious mental illness and children with severe emotional disturbances.
We provide counseling, medications, treatment for substance abuse occurring
with mental illness, behavioral health care for children/adolescents
(in-home and school-based), family and parent education, rehabilitation
services, community support and housing.
We believe that providing quality, non-discriminatory and confidential
services enhances dignity and self-determination among people living
with mental illness and their families. Our objective is to help them
recover from the negative impact of these illnesses, become increasingly
independent, and function well in the community.
ACT contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance
Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) to provide behavioral health services. Our
Outpatient (child/adolescent and adult), Case Management, and Psychosocial
Rehabilitation programs are currently accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Our clinical teams work in partnership with the individuals and families
we serve. ACT provides a comprehensive array of programs to help
people build better lives. |
