ACT manages housing complexes
for long-term independent living in Broken Arrow, Sapulpa, and Tahlequah. All
residents participate in supportive mental health services at ACT or
at another nearby community mental health program.
Our apartment centers provide clean, safe, affordable housing for people
with serious mental illness, offering a safe haven for people who have
been living in inadequate housing or have been homeless.
On-site managers ensure maintenance and a safe environment. Unlike residential
care facilities, the housing program offers independent living as in
any other apartment complex, but with the added support of a manager
who understands the psychiatric illnesses of residents.
All residents are self-reliant and many are able to work, while participating
in on-going supportive mental health care.
ACT also manages one short-term and one transitional living facility in Tulsa for individuals in need of temporary housing and training to live independently.
